Professor Hayder Al-Aubaidy's research focuses on the early detection and prevention of prediabetes and type 2 diabetes. His work investigates the anti-inflammatory, lipid-lowering, and glucose-lowering effects of various nutraceutical compounds, aiming to control and potentially reverse diabetes complications in prediabetes and early-stage type 2 diabetes. Additionally, he studies the interplay of biochemical markers associated with poor diabetes outcomes, particularly those contributing to the development of diabetes complications such as cardiovascular disease. With 18 years of experience in this field, Dr. Al-Aubaidy has published over 90 research papers in peer-reviewed journals. He has collaborated with both national and international research teams and has supervised numerous high-degree students on related research topics.
