Dr. Poom Kumam received his MSc degree (mathematics) from Chiang Mai University, Chiang Mai, Thailand, in 2002, and his PhD degree (mathematics) from Naresuan University, Phitsanulok, Thailand, in 2007. His research interest focuses on fixed-point theory in relation to optimization problems in both pure science and applied science. He is a full professor at the Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Science, King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT).
