A graduate of Food Technology from the prestigious University of Ibadan with Masters in Environmental Resources Management and Ph.D in Veterinary Public Health. The constant focus in his education and career sojourn had always been food safety, regulatory compliance and risk management. He had put in over 20 years in the government regulatory sector ensuring that products in the national food supply space comply with standards; counting more than 15 years of contribution to the elaboration of standards both national and international standards in order to ensure safe, wholesome and quality food for all. Before joining the government he had been in the private sector and his work experience spanned several sectors. Dr Adegboye's research interest areas include food safety and risk management systems. The outcomes of his studies, informed useful and beneficial application in the food safety - public health watch. He coordinated the first total diet study in Nigeria, which scoped the anti-nutritional dietary exposure of the populace through diets; nutritional data were also mined in the study.
