Jasmina Pekez was born on February 26, 1972 in Serbia. She graduated from the University of Novi Sad, Technical Faculty "Mihajlo Pupin" in Zrenjanin in 1997, Department of Mechanical Engineering. She received her master's degree in 2005 and her doctorate in 2015. at the same faculty. Her researce areas are energy efficiency, renewable energy sources and materials science. She has published over 110 papers in international and domestic journals, 60 papers at scientific conferences and is the co-author of 4 books. She was hired as a researcher on 5 projects. Since 2000, she has been employed at the Technical Faculty "Mihajlo Pupin" in Zrenjanin and since 2020 she has had the title of associate professor.
