Prof. Csaba Hegedus

Prof. Hegedűs received his general medicine degree in 1982 at Medical University of Debrecen, completed his Dental and Oral Disease exam in 1986, his Restorative Dentistry and Prosthetic Dentistry exam in 2004, Prosthetic Dentistry, as well as Oral Implantology exam in 2019. He received his Ph.D in Medical Science at University of Debrecen in 2000. In 2008 his habilitation procedure was successfully completed. He fulfils(/ed) the charges of the Hungarian National Advisory Board of Dental and Oral Disease (2009-), he was vice president of the Hungarian Medical Chamber/ Hajdú-Bihar m. (county) (2003-2007) a member of the UD senate (2000-2018), a member of the UD Advisory Board of Dean (2009-2018) besides his dean’s responsibilities of the Faculty of Dentistry (2009-2018) and the Head of Biomaterials and Prosthetic Dentistry Department at Faculty of Dentistry UD (2002-). From 1982 until 1986, he worked as a clinical doctor at the Medical University of Debrecen Clinic of Stomatology, from 1986 until 1999 assistant lecturer at the Medical University of Debrecen Clinic of Stomatology, from 1999 until 2002 assistant professor at UD MHSC, FOTI Dep. of Prosthetic Dentistry, from 2002 until 2010 associate professor at UD MHSC, from 2010 to present he is a full professor and head of Department at UD, Faculty of Dentistry.
