Ivan Vukoja was born on July 13, 1984 in Požega, elementary school he finished in Pleternica, and the high school in Požega. He enrolled at the Medical Faculty of the University of Zagreb in 2003, where he graduated in 2009, and at the same faculty in 2019 he obtained the title of PhD. Specialization in internal medicine gained in 2015, and gastroenterology subspecialization in 2018. Since 2010 he has been employed at the General County Hospital Požega, since 2018. is the head of the Hemodialysis Department, and from 2020, he has been Deputy Director of General County Hospital in Požega, and from 2021 director. He has been working in the Internal Medicine Service of Požega since 2010, where in his professional work he deals with gastroenterology and endosonography. From 2009. is founder and president of "Andrija Stampar" - Association of people's health.
