Dr. Ruy Carlos Ruver Beck graduated in Pharmacy (Universidade Federal de Santa Maria, 1995), with an MSc in Pharmaceutical Sciences (Universidade Federal de Santa Maria, 2000) and a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences (Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul, 2005), with a collaborative period (7 months) at Universität des Saarlandes (Dept Biopharm. and Pharm. Technology). He has a Full Professor position at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul. In 2016, he was a Senior Researcher at the UCL School of Pharmacy in London (UK). His research interests mainly focus on 3D printing, drug release, drug nanocarriers, personalized medicine, polymers, and solid dosage forms. His scientific output includes more than 150 publications and 4671 citations (h-index 39)(Scopus, 26 December 2023).
