Akhilesh Kumar Gupta obtained his Doctoral Degree in Electronic Engineering from Chang Gung University in Taoyuan, Taiwan, in 2020. He earned a Master of Technology (M. Tech) degree in Bioelectronics from Tezpur University in Assam, India, in 2010, and a Master of Science in Physics from St. Andrews College (D.D.U. Gorakhpur University) in Gorakhpur, India, in 2008. He worked as a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) on a DST-sponsored project at Banaras Hindu University in India. He is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, USA. His research interests include biosensors and bioelectronic devices, self-powered biosensors, electrochemical biosensors, the metal-semiconductor plasmonic model and its applications in light-harvesting optical devices, and SERS-based sensors for biomedical healthcare applications.
