Long Ruyin is a Second-Level Professor and Doctoral Supervisor of the Business School of Jiangnan University. His research interests include green development theory and methods, residents' environmental behavior, behavioral decision-making and green consumption, energy and environmental economic policy, etc.
He is Chief Expert on major bidding projects of the National Social Science Foundation and one of the top 2% of scientists in the global environmental field. He is Vice President of the Jiangsu Provincial Association of Quantitative Economics and Management Science, Vice President of the Xuzhou Institute of Management, a member of the China Committee of the International Society of Energy Economics, Deputy Secretary-General and Executive Director of the Low-Carbon Development Management Committee of the China Association for Advanced Selection Methods and Economic Mathematics, Deputy Secretary-General and Executive Director of the Energy Economics and Management Research Branch of the China Association for Advanced Selection Methods and Economic Mathematics, etc.
He has worked with the National Natural Science Foundation of China and National Social Science Foundation of China Exchange as an evaluation expert, and with the Ministry of Education Humanities and Social Science as a major research project evaluation expert. He is a member of the editorial board of the Journal Low Carbon Economy and a guest editor of the prestigious SSCI journal Frontiers in Psychology.
