Leonardo Beltrán Rodríguez studied a PhD at the Department of Forestry, Colegio de Postgraduados. Currently he is a Postdoctoral research at the Ecological Ethnobotany Lab in the Botanical Garden, Biology Institute-UNAM. Leonardo does research in Applied Ethnobotany, Population ecology, Botany, and Cultural Anthropology. Their current project is 'Study on NTFPs in Mexico'.
