Professor Vahid Nourani's research interests include rainfall-runoff modeling, the applications of artificial intelligence in water resources engineering, hydro-informatics and computational hydraulics. His research has been published in the form of 122 articles in prestigious scientific journals, 2 books, 8 chapters of a book, and more than 120 papers presented at internal and external conferences. Since the beginning of 2018, he has been working as the editor of the prestigious Journal of Hydrology (Elsevier Publications). In 2018, he was placed among the top one percent of Iranian scientists in the field of engineering.
