Biography
Dr. Ramcharan Singh Angom is a vascular biologist, currently working as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Mayo Clinic, Jacksonville, FL, USA. He obtained his Master's Degree in Biotechnology at Tezpur University in 2007 and a Ph.D. in Biotechnology at the CSIR Institute of Genomics and Integrative Biology in 2015. He conducts research on cancer biology, age-related cognitive disorders (Dementia), and cardiovascular diseases. His research mainly focuses on investigating the role of vascular dysfunction in cancer progression, dementia and ischemic heart disease.
