The aim of this paper is to investigate the generalization of the Sierpinski gasket through the harmonic metric. In particular, this work presents an antenna based on such a generalization. In fact, the harmonic Sierpinski gasket is used as a geometric configuration of small antennas. As with fractal antennas and Rényi entropy, their performance is characterized by the associated entropy that is studied and discussed here.

The entropies of Shannon, Rényi and Kolmogorov are analyzed and compared together with their main properties. The entropy of some particular antennas with a pre-fractal shape, also called fractal antennas, is studied. In particular, their entropy is linked with the fractal geometrical shape and the physical performance.

This paper deals with the hidden structure of prime numbers. Previous numerical studies have already indicated a fractal-like behavior of prime-indexed primes. The construction of binary images enables us to generalize this result. In fact, two-integer sequences can easily be converted into a two-color image. In particular, the resulting method shows that both the coprimality condition and Ramanujan primes resemble the Minkowski island and Cantor set, respectively. Furthermore, the comparison between prime-indexed primes and Ramanujan primes is introduced and discussed. Thus the Cantor set covers a relevant role in the fractal-like description of prime numbers. The results confirm the feasibility of the method based on binary images. The link between fractal sets and chaotic dynamical systems may allow the characterization of the Hénon map only in terms of prime numbers.

This paper deals with the fractional calculus of zeta functions. In particular, the study is focused on the Hurwitz ζ \zeta function. All the results are based on the complex generalization of the Grünwald-Letnikov fractional derivative. We state and prove the functional equation together with an integral representation by Bernoulli numbers. Moreover, we treat an application in terms of Shannon entropy.

This paper outlines further properties concerning the fractional derivative of the Riemann ζ function. The functional equation, computed by the introduction of the Grünwald–Letnikov fractional derivative, is rewritten in a simplified form that reduces the computational cost. Additionally, a quasisymmetric form of the aforementioned functional equation is derived (symmetric up to one complex multiplicative constant). The second part of the paper examines the link with the distribution of prime numbers. The Dirichlet η function suggests the introduction of a complex strip as a fractional counterpart of the critical strip. Analytic properties are shown, particularly that a Dirichlet series can be linked with this strip and expressed as a sum of the fractional derivatives of ζ. Finally, Theorem 4.3 links the fractional derivative of ζ with the distribution of prime numbers in the left half-plane.
