Pritam Kumar Panda is pursuing Ph.D. at Department of Physics and Astronomy, Uppsala University, Sweden. He held his double Master’s in Bioinformatics from India. He had worked as a graduate scientist in the Division of Pediatric Haematology and Oncology, University of Freiburg, Germany. He is currently associated with Division of Immunology and Chronic Disease, Institute of Environmental Medicine Karolinska Instituet, Sweden and Infection biology lab, KIIT University, India as a visiting researcher. Recently he has been engaged with Karolinska Institute to develop vaccines for cardiovascular diseases and arthritis. He is also a member of “Pay it Forward- Genomics and Machine Learning Training” initiated by Centre for Global Oncology, Institute of Cancer Research, London. Pritam has published more than 40 papers including many in top ranked journals, such as Nature Medicine, Science Advances, Nature Leukemia, Materials Today, Inorganic Chemistry (ACS), Adv. Functional Materials (Wiley) etc. and also serves as referee for various reputed journals. His expertise includes drug designing and discovery, immunoinformatics, molecular modeling, oncology, molecular dynamics, 2D-materials modeling, nano-biotechnology, biophysics, computational materials science and nanomedicine.
