Alessandra Longhi graduated from Bologna University Medical School as a medical doctor in medicine in 1985. She is now the head of the Departmental Structure of Chemotherapy of Musculoskeletal Tumors at Istituto Ortopedico Rizzoli. She also serves as a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and is a Rizzoli Rapresentative for the Osservatorio Regione Emilia-Romagna for non-conventional medicine. She has published 148 scientific papers. Her research interests include osteosarcoma, chemotherapy, and pediatric oncology.
