Aleksandra Jovanović Galović is a Full Professor at the Faculty of Pharmacy Novi Sad, University of Business Academy. She received her PhD from the Faculty of Natural Sciences, University of Novi Sad (1998), at the Department of Biology, in Biochemistry. She also completed specialist academic studies in Immunobiology with Microbiology (2017). She undertook her post-doctoral training under prof Jovanović Galović at the Department of Biochemistry, Faculty of Medicine, University of Padua. In 2005-2006, she was working as a Visiting Researcher at New York University, Office of the Chief Medical Examiner. She also gained work and professional experience at the Institute of Public Health of Vojvodina, Center of Virology, where she was involved in clinical molecular diagnostics and research. Her areas of interest are biochemistry, immunology and molecular biology. She is the author or co-author of 50 scientific publications.
