Dr. Pengfei Li is a professor and vice president with the College of Geomatics, Xian University of Science and Technology. He received a BS from Northwest A&F University in 2008, an MS from Northwest A&F University in 2010, and a PhD from the University of Leeds in 2015. He is a postdoctoral fellow at the Institute of Soil and Water Conservation, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Ministry of Water Resources from 2015 to 2017. He is the vice president of the Shaanxi Geographical Society and vice chairman of the Resource Ecology Research Committee of the China Natural Resources Society. His research interests are (1) research on monitoring algorithms for soil erosion and topographic change; (2) research on soil erosion processes and mechanisms; (3) simulation study of soil erosion models.
