I focus on the development and application of molecular and stable isotope geochemistry to environmental chemistry and ecosystem sciences, fossil fuel exploration; my main interests include: • characterisation of petroleum source rocks; • source apportionment of organic pollutants; • investigation of C export from terrestrial biosphere; • research on C cycling in the Arctic; • development of biomarker proxies for ice extent in polar regions; • methodology for food quality and geographic provenancing.
