I am an experienced research scientist at SINTEF Energy Research in Trondheim, Norway, working on various biofuel production technologies since 2000. I earned my PhD degree at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology in the field of biomass pyrolysis. My Master's degree was earned from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics (Hungary) in the field of lignocellulosic ethanol production with enzymatic hydrolysis. Currently, I work on thermochemical conversion of biomass and waste, as well as biofuels production. I have also experience with working on large projects with Norwegian and international industry involvement aiming biofuels production and cooperating with relevant European and Norwegian research institutes and universities. I am currently a Steering Committee member of the European Biofuels Technology Platform as well as a representative for Norway in several committees.
