Nien-Che Yang was born in Keelung, Taiwan, in 1977. He received his B.Sc, M.Sc, and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, Taipei, Taiwan, in 2002, 2004, and 2010, respectively. Since 2018, he has been with the faculty of the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, where he is currently an Associate Professor of Electrical Engineering. His research interests include micro-grid state estimation, harmonic three-phase power flow analysis, probabilistic three-phase power flow analysis, energy loss computation in low voltage networks, micro-grids, smart grids, and electric vehicles. He is a member of the Phi Tau Phi Scholastic Honor Society.
