Prof. Dr. Andrew Hemphill works as an associate professor and research group leader at the University of Berne. He earned a Masters Degree in 1988, and Ph.D. Degree in 1991 from the University of Berne. Then he obtained a post-doc from the Institute of General Microbiology, University of Berne in 1992. Furthermore, he worked as a postdoctoral fellow at University College London (1993-1994) and as an Assistant (1994-1999) and Oberassistent (1999-2001) at the Institute of Parasitology IPB), University of Berne.
