I am a graduate of the University "Politehnica” of Bucharest, Faculty of Automatic Control & Computers (Engineer's Degree), as well as of the University "Paul Sabatier" of Toulouse, Remote Sensing and Image Processing (MSc degree), and I hold a Doctorate degree in Agronomy (Mathematical Modeling). I'm also a former Fulbright scholar. I have expertise in using geomatics (remote sensing, geographic information systems, and global navigation satellite systems), and radiative transfer & agro-physiological modeling in agriculture and the environment. Currently, I am interested in better understanding soil ecosystem services, with a focus on socio-ecological resilience. (see https://independentscholar.academia.edu/RuxandraVINTILA)
