I am an Assistant Professor at the Universidade de Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro, Department of Biology, Herbarium and Botanic Garden of UTAD, and a member of the CITAB research center (Centre for the Research and Technology of Agro-Environmental and Biological Sciences​). I have a PhD in vegetal biology from the University of Salamanca (Spain), and specialize in the morphogenetic and environmental characterization of vascular flora from the occident of Eurasia and northern Africa.
