Siddig Ibrahim Abdelwahab is an associate professor at Jazan University, Jazan, KSA. He graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Sciences, University of Khartoum in the field of Veterinary Medicine in 1999 and obtained his Master of Science in Pharmacology from the Faculty of Pharmacy, and PhD from the University Putra Malaysia, Malaysia in 2008. Following two years of a post-doctoral fellowship, in 2010, he worked as an associate professor at the University of Malaya, Malaysia. During his period at the University Malaya, he was successful in developing a fully functional biomedical research group and laboratory with over 15 students and research assistants in active research. Later, in the year 2012, he also had the opportunity to join as an associate professor as well as head of the Biomedical Research Unit, (Medical Research Center, and Substance Abuse Research Center) and Core Laboratory, Medical Research Center, Jazan, Saudi Arabia. He is an active member of four scientific communities and is been considered as a potential reviewer for more than 10 biomedical journals. His excellence in research also extends to statistical analysis.
