Prof Dr Zamzuri Idris graduated from the University of Wales College of Medicine, Cardiff, UK, then pursued his postgraduate career in Neurosurgery. He is currently the Head of Neuroscience at USM. He is also professionally associated and involved with the Belgian Neurological Surgery Society, European Society for Stereotactic and Functional Neurosurgery, Asia Pacific Low Grade Glioma Network and Society for Brain Mapping and Therapeutics. His major interests are in Awake Brain Surgery, Epilepsy, Brain Mapping, Brain Stimulation, Minimally Invasive Neurosurgery, Precision Radiation Therapy, Brain Trauma and Brain Cooling, and, lately, in Brain Quantum Physics, Brain Nanotechnology, and Brain Vortex Cosmology.
