Marek Doležal is Associate Professor of Food Chemistry and Analysis and Science Leader of the Sensory Analysis Team at the Department of Food Analysis and Nutrition, University of Chemistry and Technology, Prague, Czech Republic. Marek has a Ph.D. in Food Chemistry and Analysis from the University of Chemistry and Technology, Prague. Marek has some 30 years of experience in the chemical analysis of food and feed, the analysis of biological materials and environmental samples, the development and validation of analytical methods, the control of food contaminants, and the nutritional and sensory evaluation of food. Marek and his team are also actively involved in the transfer of scientific knowledge to the technological practice of the food industry from global to small producers.
