Dr. Michelino Di Rosa

Michelino Di Rosa, Biologist, PhD, researcher in Histology at the University of Catania. He graduated in Molecular Biology at the Institute of General Pathology, treating as topics "Innate immunity and related diseases". He had an internship at the Sbarro Institute Cancer Research and Molecular Medicine in Philadelphia (USA), with the team of Antonio Giordano. He worked had a postdoctoral fellow in the Infectious Diseases Division, Department of Clinical and Molecular Biomedicine, collaborating with prof. Giuseppe Nunnari, focusing his studies on the “Role of Innate Immunity and Infection from HIV virus ”. He spent a period of internship at the Laboratory of Clinical Neurochemistry, Institute of Neurosciences and Physiology, University of Gothenburg, Sahlgrenska University Hospital, Sweden with Prof.re Henrik Zetterberg and Prof.re Kaj Blennow concerning "the identification of new biomarkers of innate immunity in Alzheimer's disease.
