In addition to my training as a registered nurse, I studied "nursing dual" (B.Sc.). I worked as a nurse for some time, first in surgery, then in hospice. I completed my master's degree in "Research, Development and Management in Rehabilitation and Health" in Kiel. I currently work at Universität Witten/Herdecke. In the ELSA-PP project my colleagues and me are developing an (cross-institutional) electronic health record system for pediatric palliative care. The development is carried out in a participative design process with the future users from the palliative care unit, outpatient palliative care providers, general practitioners and pediatricians.
