Qian Liu is currently an Associate Professor in the Journalism and Communication Department at Jinan University, Guangzhou, China. She worked as a visiting scholar at the State University of New York at Albany, SUNY, NY, USA, from August 2019 to August 2020. Her research interests include Data analysis and visualization, health communication, and new media technology. Dr. Liu serves as a Review Editor in Frontiers in Psychology. She is also actively involved in her research community as a journal reviewer and a conference Technical Committee and reviewer (BDAI, AEJMC).
