Prof. Dr. Christian Görg Studied Human Medicine at the Justus Liebig University of Giessen in 1972 and obtained a second degree in church music and Protestant theology at Justus Liebig University Giessen in 1974. He obtained a license to practice medicine in 1979. In 1980, he received his Doctorate degree in Human Medicine. He was recognized as a doctor of internal medicine in 1986 and was awarded the academic title of Privatdozent in 1992. He has been a Senior Physician in the Department of Hematology/Oncology at the Center for Internal Medicine of Philipps University of Marburg since 1995, and the Head of the Ultrasound Department at the Center for Internal Medicine Since 1996. He has been a Professor since 1998. He is also a member of DEGUM (German Society for Ultrasound in Medicine) since 1987 and the German Cancer Society since 1987. He has published more than 200 articles, reviews, and book chapters.
