Dr. Bin Song is a professor of Department of Radiology, West China Hospital of Sichuan University. His primary research interest is in Abdominal Imaging. Currently, he holds the position of Vice President of the Chinese Society of Radiology and Vice President of the Chinese Association of Radiologists. He has been actively involved in editorial responsibilities, contributing significantly to prominent medical journals. Noteworthy roles include Deputy Editor of "Abdominal Radiology", "Insights into Imaging", and "Frontiers in Oncology", Section of Cancer Imaging. Over the past five years, he has taken charge of 20 scientific research projects, securing funding from prestigious entities such as the National Ministry of Science and Technology, the National Natural Science Foundation, and the Science and Technology Department of Sichuan Province. In addition, he has edited more than 10 academic books. As an accomplished researcher, he has co-authored 300 SCI-indexed academic papers, accumulating over 3000 citations. In recognition of his outstanding achievements, he was honored with an "Honorary Fellowship" by the European Society of Gastrointestinal and Abdominal Radiology (ESGAR) in June 2023.
