LAURA CRUZ REYES is a professor at the Technological Institute of Ciudad Madero, a doctorate in computer science from the National Center for Technological Research and Development, and a computer science teacher from the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education. She is a member of the National System of Researchers of Mexico at level II and leader of the Intelligent Optimization academic body before PRODEP. Her interests areas include intelligent optimization, heuristics, evolutionary algorithms, machine learning, multi-criteria decision, and logistics.
