Dr. Endalkachew Mosisa Gutema holds a Ph.D. in Material Engineering from Saint Petersburg Mining University, Russia in 2018. Currently, he is serving as an Assoc. Prof. in the departement of Mechanical Engineering at Wallaga University (WU). On top of teaching and research activities Dr Endalkachew Mosisa Gutema served in different leadership positions such as head of Mechanical Engineering Department (2012 -14), College Dean (2020 – 23) and project coordinator of INDMET project at WU funded by NORAD (2021 – present). His current research interest includes metal matrix composite, machining and additive manufacturing.
