Dr. Henning Hermanns is a Cardiac and Pediatric Anesthesiologist at the Department of Anaesthesiology, Amsterdam University Medical Centers, Amsterdam, The Netherlands. He obtained his M.D. from the University of Düsseldorf in 2005, and his Ph.D. in Medicine from the University of Amsterdam in 2021. His research activity focuses on the mechanisms of nociception and improving patient care in cardiac anesthesia. He has published more than 60 papers with over 1,620 citations and an h-index of 22 (Scopus, January 2024).
