Yunze He (M’11) received his Bachelor’s degree from the School of Mechanical Engineering Automation, Xi’an Jiaotong University, Xi’an, China, in 2006. In 2012, he received a B.S. degree from the National University of Defense Technology, Changsha, China. From February 2011 to February 2012, he completed joint doctoral training at the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, University of Newcastle, UK. At present, he is a Professor of Hunan University. His research interests include intelligent sensing and nondestructive testing. He has presided over 30 scientific research and educational reform projects, such as National Natural Science Foundation of China, international cooperation and exchange, and CCF-Baidu-funded projects. He was awarded the 'Royal Society–Newton Mobility Grant’ in 2018. In 2020, he was included in the World’s Top 2% of Scientists (Career, Stanford University). In 2021, he was selected as one of 2020's Highly Cited Chinese Researchers (Elsevier). He has published more than 80 academic papers in journals, which have been cited more than 3900 times in Google Scholar, with an h-index of 36.
