Dayong Hu received his Ph.D. degree in solid mechanics from the School of Aeronautical Science and Engineering, Beihang University, in 2009. He is now an associate professor of Aircraft Airworthiness Engineering, School of Transportation Science and Engineering. He is mainly engaged in experimental and numerical simulation research on the impact dynamics and dynamic mechanical behavior of materials against the background of aircraft crash resistance. He has hosted and participated in a number of projects, including the key fund of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, national defense basic scientific research projects, and crashworthiness research projects involving several models.
