Pengyu Dong is an associate professor at Yancheng Institute of Technology. He received his Ph.D. in materials physics and chemistry from Lanzhou University under the supervision of Yuhua Wang, and completed his post-doctoral experience in Min Han’s group at Nanjing University. He was a visiting scholar in Pingyun Feng’s group at University of California, Riverside. His current research focuses on the development of new visible-light-driven photocatalysts for energy and environmental applications.
He has co-authored over 51 peer-reviewed publications, such as ACS Catal., Appl. Catal. B, J. Mater. Chem. A, Environ. Sci.: Nano, Nanoscale, J. Am. Ceram. Soc., with citations of ∼1355, h-index 19. Among these papers, one paper has been cited as ESI Highly Cited Paper. He is also an active reviewer for many high IF journals published by Elsevier, Springer, the American Chemical Society, and the Royal Society of Chemistry. In addition, he is a guest editor of Frontiers in Chemistry (IF=5.212).
