Dr. Schuelke has worked in industry, government and university laboratories as a scientist, team leader and manager for more than 25 years. His work centers around translational research and development for industry and government customers with a lab-to-market focus. He successfully established national and international scientific and business collaborations with partners from industry, universities and the Fraunhofer network. Dr. Schuelke’s scholarly interests include the development, characterization and industrial applications of physical and chemical vapor deposition processes, systems technologies and materials. He is an internationally recognized expert on thin film coating and plasma technologies, diamond-like carbon coatings and diamond materials.
