Akhlaqur Rahman (AK) (S'12, M'19, SM’21) received his PhD in Electrical Engineering from Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne, Australia. As of 2021. Dr. Akhlaqur was the Course Coordinator and Lecturer for Industrial Automation Discipline at Engineering Institute of Technology (EIT) in Melbourne, Australia. AK has been teaching at a higher education level for 9 years (since 2013). He completed his BSc in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from American International University, Bangladesh, in 2012. To date, Dr. Akhlaqur has published several top journals (IEEE TII, Computer Networks, IEEE COMST, IEEE Access, and MDPI JSAN). AK is currently a member of Engineers Australia (EA), as well as Secretary for IEEE Young Professionals Executive Committee (VIC Section). His research Interests Include machine learning, cloud networked robotics, artificial intelligence, optimal decision making, industrial automation, and IIoT.
