Ahmad Kantar is currently the Director of the Pediatric Cough and Asthma Center and Head of the Pediatric Unit at Istituti Ospedalieri Bergamaschi, University and Research Hospitals in Bergamo Italy. He was previously the Director of the High Altitude Pediatric Asthma Center in Misurina and a Lecturer at the Department of Pediatrics and Biochemistry at the University of Ancona and the University of Camerino (Italy). He received membership in the assembly of the Italian Pediatric Respiratory Society (SIMRI), American Thoracic Society, Italian Pediatric Society, Italian Society of Pediatric Allergy and Immunology, European Respiratory Society, and International Society for Aerosols in Medicine. His main program of research has focused on the clinical and scientific aspects of chronic cough, asthma, and inhalation therapy in children.
