Prof. Dr. Cheolhee Kim is a
Research Professor of Design & Manufacturing at the Department of
Mechanical & Materials Engineering, Portland State University. He obtained
his BSc. in Precision Engineering and Mechatronics, his MSc. in Mechanical
Engineering and his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Korea Advanced
Institute of Science and Technology, Korea, in 1995, 1997, and 2002,
respectively. His research interests include “De-Skilling” of Welding Research,
in situ Monitoring and Feedback Control of Welding Quality, and Temperature and
Flow Field Simulation.
