Undergraduate student at the Faculty of Pharmacy of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (started 2016). I have already completed the total of 46 mandatory courses, 8 laboratory-based practical courses, 14 elective courses, a one-year thesis (30 ECTS). By July of 2021, I will complete the 5-year curriculum (300 ECTS- equivalent to Masters) and finally a practical internship in both a community and a hospital pharmacy. I am currently working on my thesis in the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, which is entitled “Therapeutic Approaches for the Treatment of Hepatitis B”, under the supervision of prof. Grigoris Zoidis. The object that highly interests me is Medicinal Chemistry; organic synthesis, lead optimization, drug design, design novel active compounds, spectroscopical analysis and structure-activity relationships. I am planning to extend my knowledge and expertise in the field of Medicinal Chemistry by attending a postgraduate program by the time I finish my undergraduate studies.
