Ileana Constantinescu, M.D., PhD is a Professor at "Carol Davila", University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Bucharest, Romania and she is also Head of The Center of Immunogenetics and Virology, located in Fundeni Clinical Institute, Bucharest, Romania and EFI accredited. With a vast research expertize, she coordonates the immunology and virology laboratory testing performed in Fundeni Clinical Institute for transplant recipients and donors. She is also a member of various editorial boards, being Editor in Chief for the journal "Immunogenetics: Open Access". With over 89 publications and a vast expertize in the field of transplant immunology, virology, molecular medicine, she participated in various research grants and programs during the last decade.
