Diego Augusto Santos Silva earned a PhD in Physical Education from the Federal University of Santa Catarina. He is now an Associate Professor at the Physical Education Department at the Federal University of Santa Catarina. His work in Physical Activity and Public Health has resulted in hundreds of publications, presentations, lectures, and courses. His research interests include Physical Activity Epidemiology, Pediatric Exercise Science, Public Health, Anthropometry, and Body composition.
