Fode Zhang received the Ph.D. degree in statistics from Northwestern Polytechnical University, Xi'an, China, in 2017, and the joint training Ph.D. in statistics from Southern Methodist University, Dallas, USA, in 2016. He was a Research Fellow with the National University of Singapore. He is currently an Associate Professor and Doctoral Supervisor with the Center of Statistical Research, School of Statistics, Southwestern University of Finance and Economics, Chengdu, China. His current research interests include statistical learning, deep learning application, kernel method, distributed learning, and information geometry. Fode is an Editorial Board Member for Transactions on Probabilistic Machine Learning.
