Dr. Janne Heiskanen received his Ph.D. degree in geography from the University of Helsinki, Helsinki, Finland, in 2008. He is currently a University Researcher with the Department of Geosciences and Geography, University of Helsinki and Finnish Meteorological Institute, Helsinki, Finland. His research interests include the remote sensing of vegetation parameters, land cover change, and water and carbon cycles.
