Prof. Cheinway Hwang is a Lifetime Chair Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering, National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University, Hsinchu, Taiwan. He holds a PhD in Geodetic Science from Ohio State University, Columbus, OH, USA. Prof. Hwang’s research interests include the applications of satellite altimetry in geodesy, geophysics and oceanography, gravimetry, analytical theory of satellite equations of motion, geoid determination, gravity recovery from satellite missions CHAMP, RACE, and ROCSAT-3/COSMIC.
