Prof. Dr. Chunzhen Cheng

Dr. Chunzhen Cheng received a B.Sc. degree in Biotechnology from Ludong University in 2008, an M.Sc. degree in Botany from Southwest University in 2011, and a Ph.D. degree in Pomology from Southwest University in 2015. From 2016 to 2020 he was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Horticulture Postdoctoral Mobile Station, Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University. He is an Associate Professor at the College of Horticulture, Shanxi Agricultural University. He mainly engages in research on horticultural plant biotechnology and genetic breeding, and is good at the genetic transformation of horticultural plants, plant stress resistance breeding, and plant–pathogen interaction research.
