Prof. Dr. Jia Liu is a researcher at the Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica, Chinese Academy of Sciences, China. She earned her PhD in Pharmaceutical Analysis from the same institute in 2011. Her research focuses on innovative mass spectrometry-based drug metabolism and metabolomics. This includes the development of advanced drug analytical methods, drug metabolism and mechanism studies, the evaluation of drug efficacy, and investigations into the roles of endogenous metabolites in disease progression and drug intervention. Prof. Dr. Liu has established an internationally recognized system for the rapid evaluation of early drugability in innovative drug discovery, providing crucial support for lead compound screening.
