Dr. Yang Zhou is a professor at the School of Textile Science and Engineering, State Key Laboratory of New Textile Materials and Advanced Processing Technology, Wuhan Textile University. He graduated from Xi'an Jiaotong University in 2008 with a Doctor of Science degree. He has been working at Kunming University of Science and Technology since October 2008. He was a visiting researcher at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from May 2013 to May 2014. He was promoted to professor in June 2014 and has been working at Wuhan Textile University since March 2016. His research interests include micro/nanomaterial surface functionalization/surface molecular assembly, structure and performance, high-performance and lightweight technology of fiber-reinforced composite materials, machine learning and high-throughput computing of textile material genomics, the preparation of light/thermal/electrical intelligent response functional materials and photoelectric transport properties.
